CS4K TV Box with two antennas and 5.0MP camera

CS4K TV Box is built based on Rockchip RK3288 SoC processor quad-core ARM Cortex-A764, 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB flash memory. CS4K has Dual Band (2.4GHz/5GHz) Wi-fi 802.11a/b/g/n. Android TV Box supports H.265 video decode, 4K2K output and connection the wired network (RJ45 port). Additionally CS4K TV Box has a built-in camera 5.0MP, 3x USB 2.0 and SD card port up to 32GB capacity. CS4K runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Now I’m sure you all know by now that I love new 4K TV BOX and Mini PCs. I especially like them when I’m allowed to keep them after I have reviewed them. So I was very joyful this morning when a new CS4K RK3288 Android TV Box arrived for review. I must first thank the nice girls here, for sending me the device for review.
Now one of the latest features to set the Android TV Box world on fire is the ultra HD 4K video playback feature. So as a first today I am able to test the 4K playback as I just invested in a new 4K TV set. It’s a cheap one for the bedroom, just a 40 inch 4K set.
So I can now test Android TV boxes into the realms of 4K. Where as before I was limited to only testing 4K boxes on my 1080p Sony set. And wow this box really shovels the data fast. From boot-up the experience is rapid. The remote is responsive and it seems gone are the days of remote controls being slow and sluggish. Well at least for the past 5 TV hd 4K I reviewed anyway.
According to the specifications the maximum video bandwidth is 60 Mbps. Which is more than ample. This goes a long way in explaining why I didn’t experience any slowdown, when playing 4K video files.
All of the other expected bells and whistles are present on the CS4K RK3288, such as Bluetooth 4.0, USB ports, Ethernet LAN port, and a TF-card slot. I used a Wireless mouse to control the unit as well as the supplied remote. Both worked well and the Dual Channel WiFi was really fast. However, the majority of the time I had the device connected to the local network via the Ethernet port.
